About the Smith

My name is Jack Bauer, I'm a custom sword maker in Richmond Va.   I've been making blades for almost a decade now working on swords and knives for Join or Die knives.  For the past 3 years I've been working on my own company focusing on swords. Tho I still work happily at Join or Die knives as a part time maker.   I specialize in making custom and historically inspired medieval era blades.  The swords are made in the Join or Die Knives workspace, with all the power hammers, kilns, grinders, rockwell hardness testers, lasers, and mills to make these swords battle ready.  I don't like to make wall hangers, every sword I make I want to be to historical battle standards.
